Installing Libraries

Before you dive into designing your circuit, you should install these parts libraries.

• Pimoroni: https://github.com/pimoroni/eagle
• Adafruit: https://github.com/adafruit/Adafruit-Eagle-Library
• Sparkfun: https://github.com/sparkfun/SparkFun-Eagle-Libraries

Parts libraries contain part definitions. They decide how a part should look in schematic and layout view.

On each of these pages you can click the "Download ZIP" button at the top right. Unzip the files into a new directory somewhere. Call it "Eagle Libraries" or something memorable.

Now in Eagle's Control Panel, the first window that pops up when you open Eagle, go to: Options -> Directories.
